Chrysler's shop manual D-11298 covers the C-28, C-30 and C-33 (1941), C-34, C-36 and C-37 (1942) and C-38, C-39 and C-40 (1946–1948) cars: Royal, Windsor, Saratoga, New Yorker, Crown Imperial and Town and Country, with the L-head six and eight. As the foreword explains, it has two parts. Servicing Methods runs through Sections I to XV, from front axle to lubrication, with removal and installation, adjustments and maintenance for each unit. Section XVI, Service Standards, tabulates the specifications for every series. Each section opens with a blank service bulletin reference sheet. Procedures call for Miller special tools, and the text often notes which models a step applies to.
