From the 1941–1948 Chrysler Shop Manual

Care and repair of the wood-bodied Town and Country, with white ash framing and mahogany veneer panels. Covers washing, periodic varnishing and complete stripping and refinishing. Framing repairs include shims, new sections and inlays. Panel replacement is given for the C-28 and C-34 and for the metal-backed panels of the C-38 and C-39, including deck lid, Newport style door, sedan rear door and quarter panels.
