Lubrication

From the 1941–1948 Chrysler Shop Manual

A numbered lubrication chart keyed to the text, with capacities for engines, transmissions (standard, Vacamatic, Vacamatic overdrive and hydraulic), rear axles, cooling systems and fuel tanks. Oil recommendations are given by temperature, along with oil change and filter intervals for by-pass and full-flow filters. Chassis, Fluid Drive and transmission service is grouped by mileage interval. Also covers springs, rubber parts that must not be lubricated, and oilite bearings.
