From the 1956–1960 Chevrolet Corvette Chassis Service Operations: Engines and RPO Equipment
How the later units differ from the 7014800. The 7014900 drops the starting solenoid, cut-off switch and by-pass line in favor of a cranking signal valve and a single signal line. The section covers its idle circuits, cold enrichment rod adjustment, troubleshooting and the richer R-suffix units for the 290 hp engine. Shorter notes describe the 7017300 hybrid used from 1959, the 7017200 and 7017250 with an integral siphon breaker, and the 7017310 and 7017320 with a revised intake manifold.
