Trucks
From the 1938 Chevrolet Passenger Car and Truck Service Information
Changes to 1938 Chevrolet trucks and commercial models, chiefly the 3/4-ton and 1-ton units introduced late in 1937: their new 122-1/4 inch wheelbase frame, one-piece banjo rear axle housing, front propeller shaft and heavier springs. It also covers truck engine mountings, the 10-3/4 inch clutch on larger models, the three-speed transmission, the vented steering gear, brakes, the 18-gallon fuel tank, wheels and tires, cab and panel bodies, and bumpers.
