The Pontiac 2000-mile lubrication chart and the lubrication instructions behind it: engine oil types and S.A.E. viscosity numbers by temperature, oil change intervals for average and dusty driving, crankcase capacity of 5 quarts (6 with a filter change), and chassis and body lubrication points including water pump, generator, distributor, Synchro-Mesh and Hydra-Matic transmissions, rear axle, steering gear, front wheel bearings, carburetor air cleaner and crankcase ventilator, brake master cylinder, door locks and hinges.
