Lubrication
From the Waukesha Models 190, 185 and 180 Engine Manual
Oil quantity and change intervals (every 50 hours to start), choosing SAE 10W, 20/20W or 30 by measured or estimated crankcase oil temperature, heavy and light duty service, additive oils to MIL-L-2104A and Superior Lubricant (Series 2), accessory lubrication and oil filters. Oil pressure control lists corrective steps for high or low pressure (25–30 lb normal with the vane pump, 40 lb on 190 oil field engines). The oiling system section explains full-pressure and metered-jet lubrication, and the rocker arm note covers the newer 30-degree oil hole arms that must not be mixed with the old type.
