Why the transmission can still misbehave with stall speed, fluid level and linkage correct, and which bands and clutches operate in each speed. The two planetary units give 40 percent (front) and 60 percent (rear) of total reduction, a band gives reduction and a clutch gives direct drive, with a chart for neutral, first to fourth and reverse. Closes with band adjustment at the front servo and internal adjustment of the rear band.
