Body
From the 1949 Cadillac Shop Manual
Fisher bodies (Series 61 and 62) and Fleetwood bodies (60S and 75): body construction, the two-key locking system, ventilation and the sedan rear door safety lock. Procedures cover door lock free-wheeling adjustment, door check and alignment, windshield and rear window glass, door locks, weatherstrips, window and ventilator regulators, deck lid, headlining and windshield wiper transmissions. A large part deals with the Hydro-Lectric system that powers windows, seats and the 62 convertible top, with electrical and hydraulic diagnosis and pressure tests, plus a body wiring diagram.
