This is the 1929 Buick Detailed Specifications book, issued by the sales department of the Buick Motor Company on August 1, 1928 for the sales and service departments of Buick branches, distributors and dealers. It covers the 116 inch Series (Models 20, 25, 26, 26S and 27), the 121 inch Series (Models 41, 44, 46, 46S and 47) and the 129 inch Series (Models 49, 50, 50L, 51, 54CC, 55, 57 and 58).

The book opens with brief specifications by series and a review of improvements over 1928: the larger 239 and 309 cubic inch overhead valve sixes, the new AC fuel pump, the K-S Telegage hydrostatic fuel gauge, the Marvel carburetor, the steering gear and the clutch, with horsepower and torque charts. The detailed section lists dimensions and clearances for bearings, pistons, valves, the lubrication and cooling systems, transmission gear counts and ratios, rear and front axles, brakes, springs and frame, plus Delco-Remy starting, lighting and ignition units with part numbers and a description of the closed and open body models. Restorers and mechanics use it to check original specifications.
