This volume gathers ten issues of Pontiac's Service Craftsman News, the monthly service newsletter sent to dealership mechanics: No. 1 (January 1957, S-290) through No. 10 (November 1957, S-299), with September and October combined, plus the 1957 annual index. It covers 1957 Pontiacs, including Catalina, Bonneville and Safari bodies, with a preview of the 1958 models and Vauxhall in November. Each issue is a set of short articles on carburetors, Hydra-Matic, air conditioning, bodies, electrical items and flat rate times, meant to be filed with the Shop Manual. The December issue is listed in the index but is not included.
