Buick Motor Division's shop manual for all 1950 Buick models: the Special Series 40, Super Series 50 and Roadmaster Series 70. It is arranged in numbered groups (0–14), each split into lettered sections, with paragraph numbers used for cross references and an alphabetical index at the back. It covers everything except Dynaflow Drive overhaul, which is in the separate 1948-49-50 Dynaflow Transmission Shop Manual (B.P.S. 1.32), and B.P.S. bulletins supplement it. This scan is incomplete: Group 3 (Engine Fuel and Exhaust Systems), brake sections 8-A and 8-B with most of 8-C, and Group 12 (Chassis Sheet Metal) are missing, and the Group 9 pages appear twice.

Introduction and General Information
How the manual is arranged in groups, sections and paragraphs, with the note that special tools come from Kent-Moore. A table lists every 1950 model by series with body designation and wheelbase (121½ to 130¼ inches), followed by general dimensions, ground clearances, car and engine serial number locations with assembly plant codes, the Product Report form S-758-5, the manufacturer's 90-day/4,000-mile warranty and the chassis Lubricare chart with capacities.
