GMC's 1989 Light Duty Truck Fuel and Emissions service manual, including driveability, covers fuel-injected gasoline engines only: the 2.5L, 2.8L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L engines with throttle body injection in C, K, P, R, V, S, T, M-van and G-van trucks of the 10/1500 through 30/3500 series. It replaces sections 6C and 6E of the 1989 R-V-G-P, S-T, M-van and C-K light duty truck service manuals (X-8929 to X-8932), and wiring diagrams are in the separate truck wiring diagram booklet. It is organized by system, from general information and driveability symptoms through Computer Command Control scan-tool diagnosis, TBI fuel control and each emission system, ending with special tools and a glossary.
