The 1961 Cadillac Shop Manual (Part No. 1098935) is the factory service book for Series 60, 62 and 75 cars and the Commercial Chassis. It is meant for servicemen already familiar with earlier Cadillacs and covers the 1961 changes: the new rubber-mounted front suspension with tie-struts, the 390 cubic inch V-8, and the controlled coupling Hydra-Matic. Fifteen numbered sections each open with a general description, then give service procedures, diagnosis charts, special tools, torque specifications and specifications. An alphabetical index closes the book.
