Pontiac Motor Division's March 1947 supplement to the 1941–1942 Shop Manual covers the 1946–1947 Torpedo Six and Eight (models 25 and 27) and Streamliner Six and Eight (models 26 and 28). The chassis sections follow the same order as the 1941–1942 Shop Manual. Each one describes only the parts that changed from 1942 and refers back to the earlier book for everything else. The largest chassis sections cover lubrication, the 1947 rear axle and the Carter WA1-537S and WCD-630S carburetors. The second half covers radio: antenna and receiver installation, interference elimination, alignment of the Master, DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe sets, service parts lists and radio data. A general index and a radio index close the book.
