Radios Manuals

Radios gathers manuals that deal with car radios and their installation and service. The library holds items from 1943 to 1965, mostly General Motors and American Motors material, in the form of shop manual supplements, a radio service manual, a wartime service handbook and a training newsletter.

Manuals here include the Motorola service manual for the 3TMR all-transistor AM radio fitted to the 1963 Rambler, with alignment, schematic and parts list. The 1946–1947 Pontiac Shop Manual Supplement covers installation and service of the Master, DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe radios on Torpedo and Streamliner cars, and the 1943 United Motors War-Time Service Handbook includes radio repair. The 1965 Technicians Guild News adds Pontiac and Buick service articles. Restorers and radio rebuilders can use these.
