Rear axle identification for cars and trucks (Chevrolet and Dana codes), then differential overhaul for the Chevrolet 8-1/2, 8-7/8 and 9-1/2 inch ring gear axles, Dana differentials including the 10-1/2 inch, and the truck 12-1/4 inch ring gear differential: pinion bearing replacement, pinion depth setting, pinion and side bearing preload, backlash and tooth contact.
