Overhaul of the starting motor, starting solenoid and Delcotron generators. The starting motor part covers disassembly, cleaning and inspection, armature and field coil tests, turning the commutator, brush holder replacement, assembly and pinion clearance; the charging part covers the 5.5-inch Series 10 Delcotron and the 10-SI Series Type 100 Delcotron, with rotor and stator tests by test lamp and ohmmeter, slip ring truing, and diode, heat sink and brush replacement.
