This is the Holley Carburetor Company service manual Form No. E-306, dated September 1955, for the Holley Model AA-1G dual downdraft carburetor with built-in Centri-Vac engine speed governor. It was prepared for International Harvester, which used the AA-1G on its BD-308, RED-318, RED-361, RD-372, RED-401 and RED-450 engines.

The manual explains the carburetor's three major subassemblies (air horn, main body and throttle body) and how each system works: fuel inlet, main metering, idle, vacuum-operated power enrichment (economizer), accelerating pump with over-ride spring, manual choke and the governor. The overhaul section lists Holley and Snap-On special tools and covers disassembly, cleaning, inspection and rebuilding step by step, including stretching the governor diaphragm with the MC-141 gage and setting the float level. Installation instructions cover idle mixture and governor speed adjustment, followed by service hints and a trouble shooting chart for hard starting, rough idle, poor acceleration and high-speed problems. Its numbered parts lists and photographs serve mechanics and restorers working on International Harvester vehicles with these engines.
