The 1953 braking system is the 1952 design with larger-diameter rear brake drums on the 62 and 60S series. The section gives minor and major service brake adjustment procedures and hand brake adjustment, followed by torque tightness and brake specifications, and refers to the 1952 Shop Manual for operations not revised.
