Brakes

From the 1933 Buick Shop Manual

Buick controlled-servo, internal expanding mechanical four-wheel brakes: shoes and drums, the spring centralizer, servo action and two-point articulation, the cross-shaft hook-up, hand brake lever and front brake cables. Brake specifications by series are followed by the inspection before adjustment, the numbered brake adjustment procedure keyed to a hook-up diagram, and further checks if brakes still do not work properly.
