Buick's 1948–1950 Dynaflow Transmission Shop Manual (BPS 1.32) covers the Dynaflow Drive automatic transmission used in Series 40-50 and Series 70 cars. It supersedes the 1948 Dynaflow Transmission Service Manual (BPS 1.30) and all Dynaflow items in BPS bulletins issued before October 1, 1949. The book is divided into eight sections, from specifications, description and operation, and trouble diagnosis to design changes, adjustments on the car, removal and installation, and full disassembly and assembly. Paragraphs are numbered through the whole manual and cross references use paragraph numbers; an alphabetical index closes the book.
