From the 1956 Chevrolet V8 Air Conditioning Installation Instructions
Steps 1 to 5: removal of hood, battery, radiator, fan, harmonic balancer and heater parts, then drilling with templates 3136257 and 3136628 for the firewall, selector valve, fender skirt, radiator baffle, horn bracket and accelerator control. Includes mounting the selector valve inlet flange and shortening the heater hoses to 35 inches.
