Buick's factory shop manual for all 1955 models: the Special (Series 40), Super (Series 50), Century (Series 60) and Roadmaster (Series 70). It covers the 264 and 322 cubic inch Fireball V-8 engines, Carter and Stromberg carburetors, the Synchromesh transmission and the Twin Turbine Dynaflow, chassis, brakes, electrical systems and body. The book is divided into numbered groups, each split into lettered sections and numbered paragraphs, with an alphabetical index at the back. Buick refers readers to its B.P.S. bulletins for later changes and to Fisher Body publications for body service. Group 11 (radio, heater and air conditioner) is missing from this copy.
