Buick's 1953 shop manual for the Special Series 40, Super Series 50 and Roadmaster Series 70, including the Model 76X Skylark. It describes only what changed from 1952 and sends the reader to the 1952 Buick Shop Manual for everything else, including most work on the Series 40 straight-eight and its 6-volt electrical system. The book is arranged in fourteen numbered groups, from lubrication and the new Fireball V-8 through fuel systems, Twin Turbine Dynaflow, chassis, power brakes, the 12-volt electrical system, accessories, sheet metal and body, and ends with an alphabetical index. Car model illustrations close several groups.
