Buick's 1934 Shop Manual for the Series 50, 60 and 90 (publication BPS-1.18, second edition, June 1, 1934) covers the 119-inch Series 50, 128-inch Series 60 and 136-inch Series 90 straight-eight cars, from the Model 56 business coupe to the Model 90L limousine. Chapters follow the car unit by unit: engine, fuel and exhaust, clutch, transmission, front suspension, rear axle, brakes, wheels and tires, frame, ride control, steering, electrical system, miscellaneous units and bodies, then lubrication, a new-car inspection form, dimension limits, detailed specifications and dimensional drawings, with an alphabetical index at the back. Differences between the three series are given in side-by-side tables throughout. The Series 40 has a separate 1934 shop manual.
