The 1988 GMC Light Duty Truck Fuel and Emissions Including Driveability Service Manual covers fuel-injected gasoline engines only. It replaces sections 6C and 6E of the 1988 truck service manuals for the 2.5L, 2.8L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L engines with throttle body injection, and supplements the 10–30 Series R-V-G-P, 10 Series S-T, 10 Series M-Van and 10–30 Series C-K service manuals. It gives the description, diagnosis and on-vehicle service of the Computer Command Control system and each emission subsystem, with and without a Scan tool. Wiring diagrams are in the separate Truck Wiring Diagram booklet.
