1971 Chevrolet Heavy Duty Truck Shop Manual Supplement, Series 70–90

This 1971 supplement covers Chevrolet heavy-duty 70 through 90 Series trucks, from conventional and tilt cab gasoline models with 401M, 478M and 637 engines to Detroit Diesel 53 and 71 Series and Cummins diesel models. It is used with the 1970 Heavy Duty Truck Shop Manual ST135-70, follows the same section sequence, and adds only the service information peculiar to 1971 trucks, with new or revised specifications at the end of each section. Model data charts are at the front; chassis wiring diagrams for the various cab and engine combinations make up much of the chassis electrical section, and a special tools list closes the book.
