180C Automatic Transmission

Unit repair of the 180C automatic transmission. Disassembly of external parts covers the oil pan and strainer, manual detent, governor pressure switch, solenoid and pipes, valve body and transfer plate, servo piston (using spring compressor J-23075), selector lever and electrical connector, modulator and detent valve, extension housing, speedometer driven gear and governor. Internal parts and component repair cover the case, selector lever and shaft, planetary carrier, third clutch, sprag unit, reverse clutch, selective washer thickness, converter housing and oil pump, governor hub and body, servo piston and control valve.
