This is the Ford Division shop manual for the 1958 Thunderbird, a unitized-body car powered by the 352 cubic inch Interceptor V-8 "Thunderbird Special". It is organized in 13 numbered groups, each with its own page prefix (1-2, 2-8 and so on) and, in most groups, numbered parts and sections. Transmission coverage includes the conventional 3-speed, the overdrive and the optional Cruise-O-Matic. Air conditioning service is not included; the foreword says it is covered in a separate manual. The last groups hold the maintenance and lubrication chart, the special tool list and specification tables.
