This is the Lincoln and Continental chapter (printed pages 561–601) of a multi-make flat-rate labor and parts guide from about 1961. It covers 1954–1961 Lincoln V8, Capri and Premiere models, the 1956–1957 Continental Mark II and the 1958–1961 Continental.

It opens with an index, model identification by year and model code (BS, BT, BY, BAJ, H8, H9, 0H, 1H), serial number locations and body type numbers. Specification tables follow: tune-up, valves, pistons, rings and bearings, engine torques, wheel alignment, and cooling system and capacity data. The rest of the book pairs labor operations, given in hours and dollars with extra time for power brakes, power steering and air conditioning, with Ford part numbers and list prices. Letter codes show which parts interchange with Ford, Mercury, Edsel and Comet-Falcon. Chapters run from engine overhaul, valve grinding and carburetors to Turbo-Drive transmissions, brakes, power steering, suspension, body hardware, the automatic top and air conditioning. Restorers and mechanics can use it to look up part numbers and period repair times.
