1961 Chevrolet Apache Truck Service Policy

This is the Chevrolet Owner Service Policy booklet supplied with a new 1961 Chevrolet Apache truck. It was issued by Chevrolet through the selling dealer and carries the Super Chevrolet Service emblem on its back cover. The scan is poor and parts of the text are hard to read, so no publication number is given.

The booklet covers the New Vehicle Warranty and the Owner Service Policy. It explains pre-delivery inspection and conditioning, and the Verification Voucher that the owner signs and surrenders to a dealer for warranty work. It also covers owner responsibility for lubrication and maintenance as listed in the Operator's Manual, and honoring the policy at any authorized Chevrolet dealer in the U.S. or Canada when touring or moving. Short notices cover design changes, tire warranty (handled by the tire maker), the 90-day Delco battery warranty, and paint and appearance items. It is useful to collectors and restorers who want the original paperwork that came with a Chevrolet truck.
