Buick Motor Division's 1954 Shop Manual (B.P.S. 1.37) covers every 1954 Buick: Special Series 40, Super Series 50, Century Series 60, Roadmaster Series 70 and Skylark Model 100. It is arranged in 14 groups, each split into lettered sections, from lubrication and the 264 and 322 cu. in. V-8 engines through carburetors, Dynaflow, chassis, brakes, electrical systems, radio and heater, frame and body, ending with an alphabetical index. The manual points to B.P.S. bulletins for later changes and to Fisher Body bulletins for body service. Bound in at the back is the 1953–1954 Buick Air Conditioner Shop Manual (B.P.S. 7.26), which has its own three sections.
