1953 Cadillac Shop Manual Supplement

The 1953 Cadillac Shop Manual Supplement was issued in May 1953 by the Cadillac Motor Car Division Service Department for the Series 53-62, 53-60S, 53-75 and 53-86 Commercial Chassis. It is a companion to the 1952 Cadillac Shop Manual and covers only the features and service procedures that changed for 1953. The book follows the shop manual's numbered sections, from General Information and Lubrication through Body, Chassis, Engine, Hydra-Matic Drive, Chassis Electrical and Accessories, closing with an index. Each section opens with a general description and, where procedures changed, a table of contents, then ends with specifications, torque tightness tables, special tools and a page for notes.
