Firebird Manuals

The Firebird is Pontiac’s sporty coupe, sold alongside the Chevrolet Camaro. The library holds a small group of manuals that cover it, including a 1969 owner’s manual, a 1970 service manual supplement, and a carburetor application index spanning 1980–1986.

Manuals here include the 1970 Pontiac Firebird Service Manual Supplement (S-7004F), which covers the mechanical parts of the Firebird, Esprit, Formula 400 and Trans Am that differ from other 1970 Pontiacs and is used with the 1970 Pontiac Service Manual. The 1969 Pontiac Owner’s Manual covers controls, maintenance and specifications for the Firebird and other Pontiac lines. The Delco Rochester Carburetor Vehicle Application Index lists original carburetor numbers by engine. Restorers and owners will find them useful.
