Corvair Manuals

The Corvair is Chevrolet’s compact car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled six-cylinder engine. The library holds two Corvair manuals from the early 1960s: an owner’s booklet on the power-operated folding top and a tune-up manual for the 1960–1964 engines.

The 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Folding Top Manual is a Fisher Body booklet on the electric top, boot, plastic rear window and cleaning of the convertible coupe. The 1964 Corvair Tune-Up Manual, Tuning the Corvair Engine, gives step-by-step tune-up procedures and a specification chart for 1962–1964 models with notes on 1960 and 1961 cars. Owners and restorers of early Corvairs can use these for convertible top care and engine tuning.
