Stromberg Manuals

Stromberg is an American carburetor brand, later part of Bendix. The library holds a service section for the Bendix-Stromberg WW and WWC downdraft carburetors, taken from the GMC Service Manual. It applies to GMC 7500 and 8500 series trucks with the 351C, 351M, 401M, 478M and 637 engines.

The GMC Bendix-Stromberg WW and WWC Carburetor Service Manual Section (Sec. 6M, pp. 439–449) covers the carburetor on these heavy GMC trucks. Mechanics and restorers of GMC trucks can use it to understand, adjust and overhaul the original fuel system. Owners of other GMC models can also use it as a reference for how Stromberg carburetors were serviced in factory manuals.
