This is Reference Book '72-4 from the Chrysler Motors Corporation Master Technicians Service Conference, a technician training booklet on disc brake service for 1972 Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler and Imperial passenger cars and Dodge light-duty trucks.

The book is organized in three parts: fixed-caliper brake servicing, floating-caliper brake servicing, and disc brake hydraulic system control valves. The fixed-caliper section covers the four-piston brakes on Valiant, Dart, Cricket and Colt, including piston checks, the C-3999 piston puller, seal removal, bore honing, disc runout and thickness variation, wheel bearing adjustment, and Cricket and Colt warning light and squeal fixes. The floating-caliper section covers the single-piston brakes on other cars and trucks: outboard shoe squeal cured with Cycleweld contact cement, guide pin bushings, caliper positioners, stuck piston removal, and the .006 inch piston clearance limit. The last part explains the 1972 one-piece warning switch, metering and proportioning valve units, bleeding procedures, and a chart of control units by model, including B100 to B300 and D100 to D300 trucks. Mechanics and restorers working on Mopar disc brakes can use it.
