The passenger car part of Chevrolet's 1947 Specifications book, prepared by the Chevrolet Central Office Engineering Department for company staff who answer technical questions. It covers the Stylemaster and Fleetmaster lines and the Fleetline Sportmaster and Aerosedan, from sedans and coupes to the Cabriolet, Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery. The tables follow the GM Uniform Parts Classification groups: identification and options, colors, weights and dimensions, body features, chassis, engine, clutch, transmission, steering and lamps. The truck part listed in the contents (pages 51–105) is not in this copy; a September 1947 dealer accessories price list is bound at the end.
