A GM light duty truck wiring diagram manual covering the 1988 C/K truck and the 1987 G van, P truck, S/T truck, M van and R/V truck. It opens with a guide to the diagram format, in which each harness is drawn as a single line on an alpha-numeric grid and every wire carries its circuit number, size, color and the address of its other end, plus basic electrical circuits and wire repair. Each truck line then has its own numbered set of harness sections, listed on a contents page at its start: fuse block details, forward lamps, engine and instrument panel harnesses for each engine, and option circuits such as air conditioning, cruise control, radios, power windows and locks, and trailer wiring.
